Is microneedling painful?
Most clients feel a light scratch and a vibration. Taylor checks with you during the session, and she can adjust or stop at any time.
How much downtime must I expect?
Facials and dermaplaning have no downtime. A peel can cause 1–4 days of light flaking. Microneedling can cause 1–3 days of redness.
How many sessions do I need?
A facial or dermaplaning gives a result in one visit. Most clients need 6 peels, 1–2 weeks apart, or 3–6 microneedling sessions, 4–6 weeks apart. Your written plan gives the number for your skin.
Is it hygienic to have this done at home?
Yes. Taylor brings clean linen for each client. Each needle cartridge and blade is sterile, sealed, and used one time. Used items go into a sealed sharps container, and Taylor takes all waste away.
Are the services suitable for my skin tone?
Taylor records your skin type and your history of dark marks in the consultation. For darker skin tones she selects milder peels and does a test spot first, because these skin types mark more easily.
Can I book if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Tell Taylor in the consultation. Some services are not suitable during pregnancy. She will recommend a facial with suitable products.
Do you offer Botox or fillers?
No. Leora Aesthetics is non-injectable. Only a doctor can give injections.
